When properly equipped, the base Durango can tow up to 6,200 pounds.
Looking for even more internal motivation? A 5.7-liter V-8 is standard on R/T and available on Citadel. Generating 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, it increases Durango's towing capability to 7,400 pounds.
And if you're seeking true track capability, SRT models feature a 6.4-liter V-8 (475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque), Brembo brakes, a performance-tuned suspension, and an electronic limited-slip differential. With the available towing package, the Durango SRT and tow up to 8,700 pounds.
Safety
The Dodge Durango offers a full range of available advanced safety features that enhance driver awareness and help to detect and avoid road hazards. The Blind Spot Monitoring System and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are available across the Durango lineup. Citadel models and higher can equip the available Technology Group package, which includes:

Design

If you don't need the seventh seatbelt, second-row captain's chairs are standard on Citadel and SRT trims and optional on others. When cargo space is a priority, the second and third rows can fold in multiple configurations for up to 85.1 cubic feet.
Technology
With a standard 7-inch touchscreen and advanced smartphone integration, the Dodge Durango makes it easy to stay connected and entertained without losing focus on the drive. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide seamless access to essential smartphone apps and functions, including hands-free calls and messaging, streaming media, maps and directions, traffic data, weather info, and more. Citadel models and above feature a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen with navigation and a nine-speaker Alpine premium audio system.
